American Pie Block of the Month
American Pie, a new Block-of-the-month designed by Wendy Sheppard from Ivory Spring for @QTFabrics, is coming soon!
This 6-month program for confident beginners is a great way to move forward in your skill-building and quilting as each block is made in two colorways. This modern twist on a traditional pattern features Dots & Stripes & More by QT Fabrics.This 6-Month Block of the Month Program will be held at 11 am on the First Saturday of each month, from April 2024 - September 2024. Bring your sewing machine and make your block in the shop each month. If you prefer to simply purchase your monthly kit and make it at home, that's ok, too!
Each month's kit will include cuts of fabric that are big enough to make that month's blocks. Be sure to save any leftover pieces from these strips, as you may need to use them in future months. In September 2024, not only will you receive the fabric for the last block, but also you will receive the fabric for the binding and the backing of your quilt. In total, with all the monthly kits, you will receive over 21 yards of fabric!
This is a traditional BOM program, in which you will pay the initial registration fee of $9.47 to reserve your place, then $52.60 for your kit each month. If you are not in the area, you will need to pay the monthly shipping cost for your kit, too.
Because no one is perfect, an optional Oops Bundle of 10 Fat Quarters and 5 Fat Eighths will be available for $43.97, if you want to be prepared to fix mistakes you might make.
