COVID-19 Update, May 6, 2020
|
We continue to take your health and safety seriously
|
As of the writing of this email, Oregon Governor Kate Brown's executive order 20-12 regarding non-essential businesses is still in effect. As a fiber arts supply shop, we are not on the list of businesses that are required to shut down. As the order states, we are permitted to be open as long as we "establish, implement, and enforce social distancing policies."
For the safety of ourselves and our customers, our social distancing policy since March 23, 2020, has been to be open by appointment only. We are disinfecting every surface a customer touches before letting the next carload of customers into the shop. For the safety of you, our customers, we are wearing masks when you are here, and we would appreciate the same courtesy in return.
All that being said, we are hopeful that we can soon keep our doors unlocked during business hours and welcome customers without appointments. Malheur County has submitted a 21-page document to the state with its plan to begin the re-opening processing. As soon the plan is approved, we will have regular business hours again, with modified social distancing policies.
Please keep checking with us as to when and how we will re-open. We miss you and look forward to welcoming you back to the shop!
