These kits have a foundation in counted cross stitch on even weave fabrics, each of these kits teaches one or two new stitches. Most of the stitches can be transferred over to surface embroidery on plain weave fabric, as well. Thea Deuck of The Victoria Sampler has designed these small, 3 1/3" square kits to stitch quickly. Kits include the fabric, all the fibers, embellishments, needles, and easy-to-follow. detailed instructions.

There are six levels of ten kits each.

• Level 1 teaches basic surface embroidery stitches
• Level 2 teaches silk ribbon embroidery stitches
• Level 3 teaches intermediate surface embroidery stitches
• Level 4 teaches pulled stitch and hemstitching techniques
• Level 5 teaches beginning Hardanger stitches
• Level 6 teaches advanced Hardanger stitches
