This die has a thicker wood block and thinner foam, as it was actually made by AccuQuilt's sister company, AccuCut. It can be used for cutting fabric, but only one or two layers at a time.

AccuCut standard wood dies feature steel-rule blades that ensure a precise cut each pass through the machine.
